The quickest way to get together a group of people to form an investment club would be to call an organization like the National Association of Investment Clubs. They can give you information on what clubs already exist in your area. And they may have a list of people who’ve emailed or called in asking for clubs in your area.

 

You can also start a club with just a few friends and then use the NAIC as a vehicle to get your information out to other investors.

 

Then to get more members, you can advertise in local magazines and newspapers and put ads on the bulletin board at your local coffee shop.

 

NAIC can probably give you the structure of how other investment clubs are set up- information like how to appoint a Secretary and who actually makes the group’s trades, etc.
