Romantic Proposals

When you pop the big question, you definitely want it to be romantic. No one wants to remember that their proposal was dull, lame, and as unromantic as they come. Even if you aren’t a very creative person, you can make this memory one to be proud of.

Tutorial

When you decide that you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you should really let them know how you feel. One way to show that special someone your feelings is by putting a lot of effort into your proposal. If you are on a tight budget, you may have to put some extra thought into it, but that doesn’t mean that it will be any less romantic.

If you want your proposal to be romantic, pay attention to the setting. Don’t propose in a place where your girlfriend (or boyfriend) is under any stress. For example, at work, at home with kids, or anywhere else where she can’t pay all of her attention to you. However, it doesn’t have to be at a candle lit dinner for two, as long as it is somewhere that she wants to be.

Whisking your girlfriend off to somewhere she’s never been is a good way to start out. Or taking her to a place that really makes her feel good. For some it’s the beach, for some a pretty town, a spa, a picnic in the woods, or a million other places. Pay attention to where your girlfriend seems the happiest. Romantic proposals can be elaborate and creative, or simple but equally romantic. The kind that you should shoot for depends on the person that you want to marry.

The thing that you should remember about romantic proposals is who you are proposing to. If she loves you and wants to marry you, you won’t regret any way you ask. Well, almost any way. Use a little common sense and social etiquette and you will be okay.
