How do i write a project report

A Project report must be precise and should follow a certain set rules which is universally accepted.

The following details should be present in any project report -

1.) A Cover page showing the details of Your Name, Ur project title, Your Reg No, Your Guide or supervisor as well as the Name and address of your college and the university.

2.) A certificate to certify that You have undertaken this project under the guidence of the Guides, signature of the committee members who judge your project seminar , sign of your guide, your HOD as well as the Principla of the College.

3.) Acknowledgement : This page is used for thanking all the individuals and organisations who have helped you complete your project successfully. This can be written paragraph wise or point wise(Your choice)

You can mention the role played by the Person in your project or simple mention their names.(Your Choice)

4.) Table of Contents: The contents table should be prepared in such a way that much time isnt wasted in searching particulars. All the figures and graphs also must be mentioned with their page numbers and figure numbers.

5.)Introduction to the topic: The introduction should give a brief idea about the project undertaken, its objectives and why it has been chosen.

6.) Details of the project:

The writer can decide the various sub headings n headings to be written, but should keep in mind to arrange the topics in a proper way so that the reader will be able to understand from the basics of the project to the core of the project.

It is always better to choose a font size (say 18 ) fro Headings, a smaller font size ( Say 16) for sub headings...and so on,

7.) Graphs and pictures should be bordered properly to make them look distinct and clear to the reader.

8.) Colour should preferably be BLACK and font should be TIMES NEW ROMAN.

9.)Atleast 1.5 line spacing should be provided in the paragraphs.

10.) Header and footers should be available.

Header should contain : Name of project (Left top) and College or University Name( Right bottom)

11.) All pages should be bordered preferably in simple single black lines.

12.) The project report should be within 40 - 50 pages only.

13.) Bibliography: This page is the last sheet, should contain all the references that you have used in during the.
project preparations, this can be books, websites, In person etc.
