how to put text on a cd

Writing the text to disk is easy,do it in a word processor. Then save it to a blank CD-ROM disk with a CD-Writer drive.

Write the document on a Word Processor.Give the file a name and save it to the hard disk. Save the file onto a CD.

(a) using Windows drag and drop in windows XP and beyond. Place a blank CD into the CD read/write drive on your pc. Open Windows Explorer. Select your file and drag it over the icon for your cd-write (drive D: for instance). Windows will write the file to disk.

(b) Install some cd-writing software on your PC. Select one which works on your operating system (linux, Windows version, etc) Then save the word processing document to the blank cd using the software.
